The V-eight engine is similar to the previous Vedette engine, having side valves, but is slightly larger at 2,353 c.c., instead of 2,158 c.c., the bore being 66.06 mm and the stroke 85.72 mm. The output is raised from 66 b.h.p. to 80 b.h.p. at 4,600 r.p.m., and the maximum torque shows an increase of 25 per cent at 2,200 r.p.m.
